2021 Veterans Day Observance

Veterans Day Observance at Blue Star Memorial Marker

The Bar Harbor Garden Club’s annual Veterans Day observance at the Blue Star Memorial Marker, due to the lingering pandemic challenges, will not be an in-person group event.

The wreath honoring and remembering our Veterans will be in place for Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, 2021. The Club encourages community members to stop by at the Blue Star Memorial Marker site for a period of contemplation. Our Veterans and their family members are a treasure to our country.

Thank you and let us all hope that by spring the Covid-19 conditions and safety guidelines will be in our past. Stay safe and take care of yourselves and each other.

The Marker is located 1/3 of a mile from the head of Mount Desert Island on Route 3.
