Awarded to Sophia Anderson, MDI High School graduate 2023
BAR HARBOR — The Bar Harbor Garden Club is pleased to announce the winner of the Peter H. Dolliver Legacy Award to Ms. Sophia Anderson, MDI High School graduate, 2023.
Ms. Anderson is a student at Suffolk University, Boston Massachusetts, majoring in Environmental Studies. Sophia has been active in this area of study both at MDI High School, as a member of the Ecology Team, and as an employee of the Bar Harbor Farm this past summer.
The presentation of the Certificate for the award was held with members of the Bar Harbor Garden Club and the Dolliver family who shared a detailed history of the Award and its importance to the family to honor their father and his love of the environment and “all things plants”.
