“Becoming Part of the Garden Tradition of MDI – My Masterworks”

Local, well-renowned landscape designer, Dennis Bracale, will be the keynote speaker for the annual meeting and luncheon of the Bar Harbor Garden Club. Mr. Bracale earned his
undergraduate degree from the College of the Atlantic and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. His landscape company, “Gardens By Design,” has created exquisite estate and residential landscapes in addition to public projects including Acadia National Park. Bracale describes his projects and gardens as “seeking a high level of integration with the spectacular natural environment of the island.” His landscape masterworks have been influenced by not only historic garden traditions, but also by the Arts and Crafts movement to British, Italian, and East Asian traditions. Bracale will share his memorable projects and provide time for questions following his presentation.
