Garden Club Scholarships
Bar Harbor Garden Club and St. Croix District Scholarship Awards
The Bar Harbor Garden Club and the St. Croix District of the Garden Club Federation of Maine offer the Nell Goff Memorial Scholarship in support of numerous studies and projects which are based on the science of horticulture. Topics of study allied to horticulture also include floriculture, landscape design, community planning, environmental sustainability, botany, and plant pathology. Deadline is March 1.
The Bar Harbor Garden Club offers the Inge C. B. Weber Memorial Scholarship in support of horticulture-related projects which involve traditional and non-college pathways. Additionally, the Peter H. Dolliver Legacy Scholarship lends support individuals working in or having a demonstratable interest in farming and horticulture. Deadline is May 1. Winners of any of these scholarships will also be considered for eligibility for other Garden Club Federation of Maine, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. scholarships.

NELL GOFF MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP — The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and financially aid students who are interested in a future major or majoring in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, city planning, or other gardening related fields.

INGE C.B. WEBER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP — The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and financially aid students and graduates who are interested in non-college pathways, majoring in or plan to major in the allied plant sciences including such studies as horticulture, floriculture, landscape design.

THE PETER H. DOLLIVER LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP — The purpose of the scholarship is to offer financial aid to applicants who have a strong interest in farming & horticulture and are graduates of a Maine high school, with a preference for MDI High School graduates.
