Improvements at Pemetic Elementary Greenhouse, Southwest Harbor

Funds for the Gardens by the Sea, Garden Tour 2023, were used to make improvements to the raised beds, water access, greenhouse, and landscaping at the Pemetic Elementary School in Southwest Harbor. The enhancements provide an upgraded functional greenhouse, newly constructed raised beds, and landscaped area for the students to gather to learn about horticulture and work together as a team! Many thanks to Bonnie Norwood, Pemetic STEM Leader, and the good work of Jane Sanderson, Pam Bowie, Linda Uberseder, Deb Smith and Barbara Amstutz.
