Native Plants and Pollinator Friendly Gardens

The Bar Harbor Garden Club welcomed Kate Garland, University of Maine Cooperative Extension Horticulturist, as the keynote speaker for their annual meeting and luncheon on Thursday, May 8 at Kebo Valley Golf Club, Bar Harbor.

Ms. Garland’s presentation, “Native Plants and Pollinator Friendly Gardens,” highlighted how home gardeners can have successful and rewarding gardening experiences using native plants and inviting pollinators. She also shared with us additional gardening resources, recommendations and videos at the links below.
