Members of the Bar Harbor Garden Club recently met at Islandscaping to choose apple trees for planting at Tremont and Pemetic schools in honor of Arbor Day.
The Club plans on donating to Mt. Desert Island Elementary and Connors Emmerson schools in Spring 2017. The effort is in support of Island Schools Greenhouse Projects and the need to educate future gardeners.
The Bar Harbor Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Maine and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
